Budaka district has a variety of livestock ranging from cattle, goats and poultry. The livestock sector has been boasted by the fact that Budaka is within the cattle corridor of Uganda which has attracted re-stocking initiatives from Government.

The major interventions are from NUSAF 2 Programme. So far, a total of 3,556 animals were procured and supplied to communities including 1,422 heifers,86 bleeding bulls, 34 oxen, 1,571 goats, 113 pigs and 330 poultry.
