Over 17,206 patients from different regions suffering  from various illnesses thronged  Budaka Health Centre IV last week. The five days medical camp that commenced from 10th to 15th Feb 2020 was a success as many people received the free medication.

According to the District Chairperson Budaka,Samuel Mulomi,he said by the end of the official closure 17,206 patients had been  treated leaving over 100 surgery cases to be covered. He added that they were forced to continue with the already registered surgery cases  upto last Sunday.

Mulomi added that the registration of new cases was stopped  leaving out scores of patients who came on the closing day.

During the dinner closure, some doctors expressed shock  with some of the  cases they handled..This was because they were too alarming.

They wondered how such cases would be at home however, they requested the district officials with the leadership of the Chairperson to lobby for a private partner who can offer similar services like Bulamu so as to help improve on the health conditions of the people in Budaka.

Erisa Mulwanyi the District Health Officer appreciated  the services rendered by the Bulamu Internation Health Care during the medical camp.

Mulwanyi also still encouraged them to come back to Budaka incase of any opportunity.
