Mr.Magunda George, the Resident District Commissioner Budaka has appealed to Ms.Katc Engineering company Ltd to do quality work that meets a taste of timeThe call was made today during a site handover to the contractor for construction of the Council Chambers Phase V.RDC thanked Government for availing resources for the execution of works in the district.According to the Project Manager, Mr.Mugweri  Charles, he informed members that the contract design contains a number of activities like construction of a staircase to the 2nd floor, first floor access ramp, first and second floor columns respectively.He added that the contract sum is UGX 489,650,500 with the contract period running for 04 months and ending in June 2024.Hon.Mukono Tom eho represented the District Chairperson in the meeting,tasked the contractor to ensure work moves on smoothly. He also encouraged stakeholders to always supervise the works at site.The Deputy Chief Administrative Officer, Ms. Akiror Jane also thanked the contractor for winning the contract again for Phase V.She further asked the contractor to ensure that he delivers work within the remaining two months before the Finanacial Year ends.MS.Katc promised members that he will deliver within the set contract period.He called for collective support from all stakeholders towards the success of the project.
