Budaks District set for theNational Assessment Exercise FY2023/24

A team from Pazel Conroy Consultancy Limited in conjunction with the Office of the Prime Minister in an entry meeting this morning  with the Heads of Department in preparation for the National Assessment Exercise  to commence today in Budaka District.According to Mr. Okumu Patrick, the assessment team leader, he informed members that the exercise will run for 03 days from 2nd -4th December 2024.He added that the exercise is evidence based henceforth any information needed should be availed within the assessment days.He further informed members that the days were increased to 03 because the performance measures were strengthened as per the revised assessment manual.He added that the assessors will communicate to the technical teams about the preliminary findings during the exit meeting on Wednesday.He added that the draft report for Budaka will be ready in 07 days for viewing on the Online Performance Assessment Management System (OPAMS).Mr. Mugolo Richard, the Chief Administrative Officer urged the members to ensure that they commit their time to address issues concerning the National Assessment exercise.“This assessment is aimed at mentorship for improved service delivery across all sectors in the district,”Mr. Mugolo said.Among the Lower Local Governments whose assessment results are being verified include; Kamonkoli TC, Nansanga, Kachomo S/C, Kachomo T/C and Katira S/C.
