CAO, District Chairperson and the Resident District Commissioner in a field visit at Kabuna subcounty.

The visit is intended to formalize LLGs and address challenges faced for improved service delivery.While addressing the members, Mr. Mugolo Richard the Chief Administrative Officer emphasized to the stakeholders to know their roles.“If each of us gets to know their roles, then service delivery would be realized,” CAO said.He added that the parish chiefs to faithfully mobilize for PDM.CAO also told the subcounty to play its part as the district handles their side.Hon. Mukono Tom who represented the District Chairperson tasked the members to popularize government programs in the subcounty and the district at large.He added that they should utilize the available platforms like burials to communicate to the communities about the government programs.The Assistant RDC, Mr. Magaja Steven, called upon the LC1’s to protect the girl child from issues of school dropout in their respective communities and as well report such cases to police.He encouraged the Area Land Committees to title their land to avoid issues of land wrangles.The Subcounty Chairperson Kabuna raised a number of issues that the subcounty faces like limited resources under road fund to enable them maintain the roads, lack of a borehole at Kabuna P/S and the need to raise and fix culverts at Bulelefe-Bwase bridge which the district promised to address with time.Among the people present in the meeting included the SACAO, Parish chiefs, CDOs, extension staffs, sub accountant and the subcounty Executive committee members.
