Kebula HCII yet to be commissioned.
A team from MOH,MOWT,District technical staff,political wing and the community leaders during a pre-handover meeting at Kebula HCII today.According to the Supervising consultant for works MOH, he informed members that the pre-handover was intended to cross check and confirm whether the works were substantially completed and ready for handover.He added that the facility was left with a few things like fixing of curtain rods, mosquito nets crush rails, bench marks and fixing of signages to able commissioning be conducted.He also informed members that MOH will furnish the facility with furniture and equipment respectively.The Contractor Youngjin construction INC assured members that the site will be ready for handover within the month of February.District Engineer appreciated the outstanding works of the contractor. He also inquired about the issue of operation and maintenance of the facility after the site has been handed over to the community.He noted the need to have a central tank through which water is pumped to other tanks.SACAO Kaderuna appreciated the contractor for the good job done.Mr.Kitianku Ezekiel the Health Incharge Kebula HCII urged the contractor to reserve a tap for the donor of the land as earlier agreed in the agreement.Members further requested for a tap for the community respectively for security purposes.District Chairperson Mr.Pajje Emmanuel and the Deputy RDC thanked the contractor for the excellent work done and for raising a standard structure which has left them happy for service delivery.They also appreciated government for the support rendered to Kebula and Budaka as a district.He urged the community to be custodians of the facility and also requested them to secure more land for expansion purposes.
