Hon.Member of Parliament for Budaka constituency and other District stake holders during the District Roads Committee meeting today in the District boardroom.During the field inspection of Kabuna –Kenkebu swamp (0.6KM),Namengo-Magasiya Road2.2KM) and Buwemba road(9.2KM) in Budaka T/C,the committee agreed on the following resolutions;1. District Engineer to draft an MOU signed for swamp raising activities at Kabuna-Kenkebu swamp,peg it and as well open a road reserve.2. Reenstating of Kabuna forest reserve by both technical and political stakeholders.3. District Chairperson to convene a sensitization meeting with the sand miners before they can impose any action on them.4. Need to strengthen the physical planning sector inorder to cause development in urban centres.Among the members present in the meeting included the Hon.Mboizi Arthur,RDC,DRDC,District Chairperson,District   Engineer ,CFO,Engineering team,SCDO and Environment Officer.
