Budaka district Council has today laid the budget for F2023/24.This will then be discussed in the various sector committees and presented back to council for approval.While presenting the budget to Council, Sec.Finance,Planning &Administration Hon.Mukono Tom, informed the Hon.councilors  that there was a marked decline in the district resource envelop for all revenue sources by Ugx 3,958,462,213 from the adjusted FY2022/23 approved budget inclusive of supplementary approval from Ugx 32,663,508,686 to Ugx 28,705,046,473 for FY2023/24  as anticipated.He also presented the district resource allocation as per the Second Budget Call Circular; LRR Ugx254,770,000,district allocation of Ugx158,692,000,LLG allocation Ugx 96,078,000,piped water development grant Ugx 216,096,425,rural water and sanitation grant Ugx 366,516,486 and Natural resource and Environment grant Ugx 19,745,194 among others.The Budget Framework Paper is an official statement by Local Government of the districts anticipated income from local revenue and proposed expenditure for the coming financial year.
