Local Government service management results January 2024.The Office of the Prime Minister released the performance assessment results for FY2022/23 where Budaka District was ranked NO.86 out of 154 Local Governments which were assessed. This was a decline in terms of performance compared to the previous assessment where the district was ranked NO.48.The key sectors assessed included; Education, Health, Water, Production particularly Micro-Scale irrigation and cross cutting measures. The District now awaits for the assessment report from OPM so as to ascertain the areas for improvement.
