Human Resource unit
The Human Resource unit is headed by the Principal Human Resource Officer supported by additional 03 Human Resource staff at the district and Budaka T/C.The HR unit offers the following services in the district.
- Prepare submissions for the appointment ,confirmation,discipline,transfer and study leave of staff in the district
- Appraise staff,manage welfare of staff,prepare departmental work plans,budget and performance reports.
- Identifying training needs and training staff for purposes of proper career development.
- Disseminate pay slips to pensioners and display on notice boards their monthly payroll.
- Interpreting and advising public officers on application of existing human resource rules,regulations,procedures and standing order
- updating of personnel data like staff list,roasters,probation register,and schedule of staff on training.
- Data entry,processing on the IPPS for health department and traditional staff
- Guidance and counselling services to staff
- Provide staff welfare management services
- Process pension files
- Offer recruitment,deploment,train,utilise and discharge staff.
- Provide technical advice to council and technical departmentson Human Resource issues.
- Prepare work plans,budgets and performance reports
- Compile ,receive and keep custody of the staff lists and related personnel records.
