The unit headed by the District Internal Auditor assisted by the internal Auditor offers the following services inline with Section 48(2) of the Public Finance Managemnt Act,2015

• Appraise the soundness and application of the accounting,functional and operational controls
• Evaluate the effectiveness and contribute to the improvement of risk management processes
• Provide assurance on the efficiency,and effectiveness of the economy in the administration of the programmes and opeartaions.
